Social Recruit is a next-generation recruitment platform designed to bridge the gap between top-tier talent and forward-thinking companies. Unlike traditional job boards, Social Recruit leverages a social-first approach — enabling candidates to build rich profiles, showcase their work, and connect with recruiters in a more human, transparent way. The platform required a highly performant, scalable frontend architecture with dynamic content capabilities, real-time interactions, and a content marketing engine to drive organic growth.

Performance at Scale
The platform needed to handle thousands of concurrent job listings, candidate profiles, and recruiter dashboards without sacrificing page load speed or user experience.
Dynamic Content Without Developer Dependency
The marketing and content team needed full control to publish, edit, and manage blog posts, thought leadership articles, and hiring guides — independently, without touching code.
Complex UI for Multiple User Roles
The platform serves two distinct user types — recruiters and candidates — each with completely different dashboards, workflows, and interaction patterns that had to feel intuitive for both.

In the crowded HR-tech space, organic discoverability was critical. The platform needed server-side rendering, structured data, and a content strategy to rank for high-intent recruitment keywords.

Next.js App Router Architecture
Built the entire platform on Next.js with the App Router, leveraging server components for data-heavy pages, static generation for marketing pages, and dynamic rendering for real-time dashboards — achieving the best of all worlds.
Contentful CMS Integration
Integrated Contentful as a headless CMS for the blog and resource center. Content editors can publish rich articles, set SEO metadata, manage categories, and schedule posts — all without touching the codebase.
Tailwind CSS Design System
Designed and built a consistent, scalable design system using Tailwind CSS with custom tokens for brand colors, typography, and spacing — ensuring visual consistency across 50+ components.
Role-Based UI Architecture
Architected separate dashboard experiences for recruiters and candidates using Next.js route groups and middleware-based auth guards, keeping concerns cleanly separated while sharing a common component library.
SEO & Performance Optimization
Implemented dynamic Open Graph tags, JSON-LD structured data, automatic sitemap generation, and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) for blog posts — resulting in fast pages and strong search engine visibility.
Component-Driven Development
Built a fully modular, reusable component library covering forms, cards, modals, filters, and data tables — enabling rapid feature development and consistent UX across the platform.
Outcome
Social Recruit launched as a polished, production-ready platform that set a new standard for recruitment UX in its space. The Contentful CMS integration empowered the content team to independently scale their blog to 30+ articles within weeks of launch, driving meaningful organic traffic. The Next.js architecture delivered sub-second page loads across all core user journeys. Conclusion
Social Recruit is one of my most technically ambitious projects — combining a modern React/Next.js frontend, headless CMS content pipeline, and a multi-role SaaS architecture into a cohesive, high-performance product. It showcases my ability to architect scalable platforms from the ground up, make smart infrastructure decisions, and deliver polished user experiences that serve real business goals in competitive markets.
